Favourites generally have lower odds. For example, if Team B is the favourite, decimal 1.50 = fractional 1/2 = American -200. On a ৳200 stake, if you win you get back ৳300 (profit of only ৳100). Lower odds mean lower profit; higher odds mean higher profit but a lower chance of winning.
The bet slip — single and multi bets
Clicking the odds of any market automatically adds it to the bet slip — usually on the right side or at the bottom of the screen. In this slip you enter your stake and can see the potential return.
Single bet: A bet on one event only. Say a limited-overs cricket match has Team A at odds of 1.65 and Team B at 2.30. If you place ৳1,000 on Team B — if Team B wins you receive ৳2,300 (profit ৳1,300); if Team A wins you lose ৳1,000. (There are no draws in limited-overs matches.)
Multi bet (multiple selections): Adding several events to the bet slip at once creates a multi bet. All the odds are multiplied together to produce a combined odds figure. Say three selections — 1.40, 1.70, and 1.80 — the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.70 × 1.80 = 4.28 (approximately). On a ৳100 stake, if all win you receive ৳428. But if even one selection loses, the entire ৳100 is lost — that is the risk of a multi bet.
Before confirming your bet, check the slip: which team/market is selected, whether the odds are correct, whether the stake is right, and what the potential return is. When everything looks correct, press the "Confirm bet" button.
If any one selection loses, you lose the entire ৳100. In a multi bet, all selections must win.
